The European Whistleblower Protection Directive (2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 23 October 2019) establishes reporting channels as a mandatory element in public entities.
It also applies to private companies with 50 or more employees or an annual turnover or balance sheet total exceeding €10 million.
